Former controversial lawmaker, who represented Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, has revealed why he has been quiet from the public space in recent times. Featuring on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Arise Television on Monday, Melaye said he was in school and needed to focus on his studies.
He acknowledged that his silence in recent times to focus on studies has paid off, stressing that he did not only graduate but has been called to the Nigerian Bar, a now a full fledge lawyer.
“I have been quiet because I was in school. I did not want Nigeria to happen to me. I needed them to let me graduate.
“I have graduated now, and I have been called to the largest bar in Africa,” he said.
