Super Falcons’ Captain Asisat Oshoala has been crowned as the 2019 African Women’s Player of the Year.

Former Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo has congratulated Sadio Mane on his emergence as African Player of the Year. 

Liverpool's Sadio Mane has won the African Player of the Year Award 2019.  The 27-year-old Senegalese who plays for the English Premier League giant club, Liverpool was announced the winner of the category at the CAF Award of 2019 held in Hurghada, Egypt. The former Southampton player defeated other nine players to the award.

Senegalese forward Sadio Mane and Nigerian Female Super Star Asisat Oshoala have both been named CAF footballer of the year in both the Male and Female category respectively.

Liverpool Football Club has announced Nike will become the club official kit supplier from the 2020-21 season.

The draws for the fourth round of the FA Cup was carried out on Monday. Premier League leaders Liverpool will travel to either Championship side Bristol City or League One Shrewsbury Town.
