All sporting events in Italy has been suspended until April 3 due to the growing spread of the coronavirus. The Coronavirus outbreak has spread across Italy in recent weeks leading to Juventus 2 -0 victory over Inter Milan being played behind closed doors. Italy's top sports body, the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) has therefore concluded to suspend sporting activities across the country until the first week of April.

Report reaching vigil360 has it that Nasarawa United player Chieme Martins has reportedly died after he slumped during a Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) match between Nasarawa United and Kastina United. The report has it that the player slump at the home ground of Nasarawa United. A team of medical personnel tried to revive Martins but to no avail. he was subsequently rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
