British heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua says his team are preparing to make an offer to Deontay Wilder that will set up a fight to become undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, after recently defeating Joseph Parker in a unification bout. The IBF, WBA and WBO title holder according to Sky Ports said if he was in Wilder's position, he would be "over the moon" with the offer.

Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua has told Tyson Fury to stop talking and focus on training, saying he cannot wait around for the former world heavyweight champion's return. The New York Police Department said Conor McGregor has been arrested and charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief following a disturbance at the UFC 223 media day in New York.

Sky Sports quoted an NYPD spokesperson as saying the 29-year-old Irish fighter was in custody and would be kept there until a court hearing on Friday morning. Police had questioned McGregor, who was stripped of his UFC lightweight title on Thursday, after he gatecrashed the UFC 223 media day, sparking chaotic scenes.

About one week after Anthony Joshua defeated Joseph Parker in a unification bout held in Principality Stadium, Cardiff, his promoter, Eddie Hearn has revealed his next likely opponent.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Hearn said Joshua's next fight is 'very likely' to be against Deontay Wilder or Alexander Povetkin.

According to him, negotiations have started for a world title fight between unified champion Joshua and WBC king Wilder, but the WBA have now ordered the British star to negotiate a mandatory title defence against Povetkin within the next 30 days.
