Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr has denied speculations in the French media that he has been contacted by French club Girondis Bordeaux to handle the team.
Rohr had a long history with Bordeaux having enjoyed an illustrious playing and coaching career with the former French champions.
The German played for Les Girondins for 12 years, making 352 appearances and the managed the side for six straight years.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is being savaged on Twitter by Arsenal fans for advising Chile international Alexis Sanchez to move to Manchester United.
In Twitter posts, fans called Henry all sorts of names for being ‘unpatriotic’ to Arsenal.
He was blamed for Arsenal loss at Bournemouth after the coach disclosed that he got a pep talk from Henry before the match, that undermined Arsenal’s fight for a top four place.

Doodles are changes made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, pioneers, and scientists.
“Today we celebrate the life of Nigerian football icon Stephen Keshi,” Google Africa said in a post on Twitter. “The beautiful game took Keshi all over the world, as a player and coach. Happy Birthday Big Boss.”
Eden Hazard has warned Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte and Board against bringing in a new striker this January. He has also questioned the idea of adopting a more direct tactical approach this season. Watford announced on Sunday they had sacked manager Marco Silva, blaming an “unwarranted approach” by Premier League rivals Everton for a downturn in results and loss of focus. N’Golo Kante has expressed his happiness at seeing Chelsea FC secure a deal to sign Ross Barkley from Everton in the January transfer window, 90 Minutes Sports reports. Barkley became the first signing for Chelsea since the January transfer window opened. The midfielder is still waiting to make his debut, although he had featured in a closed door match with Queens Park Rangers where he bagged a brace.
