Nigeria’s Flying Eagles defeated hosts, Egypt 1-0, in their second group game at the ongoing Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The eagles on Wednesday bounced back from an open-day defeat at the hands of Senegal after falling to a 1-0 defeat.

After a stalemate half, a 71st-minute header from Solomon Agbalaka was enough to seal the victory for the Flying Eagles. The Eagles will now go on and face Mozambique on Saturday, their final group game before the knockouts.

Tournament host Egypt will also be facing Senegal on Saturday in a must-win fixture.
