Arsenal FC has concluded a plan to sell, Nicholas Pepe after his failure to pull his weight at the Emirates. According to Daily Star reporters, the 25-years old positioned strategically against Molde in the Europa League on Thursday, making amends for his sending off against Leeds last weekend was not impressive.
However, during a clash with Lille, Pepe was optimistic he will still deliver.
The Gunners have admitted internally that they paid over the odds for the Ivorian, having agreed to a £22million upfront deal and a further £50m in add-ons in August 2019.
The club is now convinced that they had to let him go as soon as a good bargain comes their way.
However, in an effort to avoid the Mesut Ozil blunder by the Gunners, the Manager, Mikel Arteta has been advised to exercise caution so that the player will maintain his market value.
