Brentford, an English Premier League club, has signed Nigerian U20 defender Benjamin Fredrick to a four-year contract. Fredrick is a product of Simoiben Football Club, Moses Simon’s academy, in Kaduna State.
According to reports, Frederick joined the club on loan last summer, with an option to buy included, however, the deal has now been made permanent. He will now join fellow Nigerian Frank Onyeka at the club.
The 18-year-old Sensation started at Brentford team’s B setup and has featured with the first team on multiple occasions. He was selected as a replacement for Brentford’s Premier League matches against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as the Emirates FA Cup third-round encounter against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
