Cristiano Ronaldo has been reportedly set to join a Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr in a £ 172.9 million deal for each year contract spanning two and half years. The 37years Portuguese international is set to leave Manchester United after his contract was terminated last week following his controversial speech with Piers Morgan earlier this month during an interview. According to Marca, Ronaldo has signed a two and half year deal worth €200m equivalent to £ 173 million for each season, and has accepted to take off shortly after the world cup is over.
However, close sources to the former Juventus superstar revealed that no contract has been signed yet with Ronaldo as he is focusing on finishing the world cup game for his country.
Meanwhile, reports from Spain claim otherwise as has been concluded to see the five-times Ballon d’ Or winner moved outside Europe to continue his football carrier.
Al-Nassr is one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia, having been crowned winners of the country’s top flight nine times, with their most recent triumph coming in 2019.
