Manchester City forward Erling Haaland and coach of Arsenal FC, Mikel Arteta, have been named Premier League’s Player and Manager of the Month for August. Haaland, 22 who is currently firing on all cylinders has scored 10 goals in 6 appearances for city and currently tops the EPL goal chart with 4 goals.
Upon being named player of the month, the Norwegian stated that he is “delighted to win this award for the first time – it was an incredible start of the season for the team and I am grateful to everyone who voted,” Haaland said in a statement.
We all wanted to hit the ground running this season, so winning four games out of five was a great start for us in what is the most challenging competition in the world. I am happy to have played my part by scoring goals.

Victory against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Aston Villa ensured a top-of-the-table finish for Arsenal in August, and manager, Arteta has been recognized for the shift his team had to put on by bagging the manager for the month of August.
