Manchester United star player, Christiano Ronaldo has been charged with “improper and/or violent conduct when he was captured smashing a mobile phone from a hand of a supporter minor. There is a viral video making rounds on social media where the Portugal International was seen to have confiscated a phone from a young boy, Jacob Harding, 14yrs old, and smashed it on the pitch just before he left for the tunnel. It was learned the incident took place during the Everton Goodison Park shortly after the Manchester United 1-0 defeat last April
.
The star player was cautioned by the police over such conduct coming from a public figure of his caliber, though he later issued an apology through his Instagram Page admitting he was overtaken by emotion after such a damaging result he got that day.
The Red Devil also apologized on his behalf promising that they will help their player in responding to the charges.
A statement from the FA charging the star player reads, ‘Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 for an incident that took place after Manchester United’s Premier League match against Everton FC on Saturday 9 April 2022.
‘It is alleged that the forward’s conduct after the final whistle was improper and/or violent.’
