Philippe Countiho has decided to stay in Barcelona for the year 2020/2021 season. The Brazilian midfielder is set to exit Camp Nou after spending the last term at Beyern Munich on loan. Arsenal, Leicester City, and Tottenham Hotspurs were all eager to ushering the star player back to England.
However, the New Barca Manager, Ronald Koeman is confident about the player for the new campaign.
As reported by the Spanish outlet, sport, the decision means Liverpool is in line for a £5m, if Coutinho decided to play his next 15 matches for the Barcelona this season.
It was one of a number of add-ons said to have been included by Liverpool in the £145m deal that took Coutinho to Barcelona in January 2018.
