Manchester United Fans have been asked to unfollow Real Madrid star, Alvaro Morata and his wife on Instagram. A Manchester based news medium issued the directive on its Twitter handle @ManUtdMen on Thursday.
The tweet reads "you can unfollow Alvaro Morata and his wife on Instagram Now #mufc."
Although the tweet failed to state the reason for the new directive, Vigil360 considers the club's failed attempt to sign the Madrid striker and the subsequent signing of Romelu Lukaku, as the main reasons for the resentment among fans.
Thursday morning, news emerged that Manchester United agreed a £75m deal for Lukaku with Everton. The report added that the new arrival is set to join Manchester United's United States tour any moment from now.
The club is however understood to still be optimistic about landing the Spanish international after seeing two bids of £52.3m and £60m rejected. Real Madrid, current champions league holders, are thought to value the striker at £79.5m with Manchester United only willing to table an improved bid of £66m.
Meanwhile, United Fans are excited that Lukaku has agreed to join the Club. The Club wrote on Thursday that "a flat track bully is what we need.' United fans are happy about Lukaku #mufc"
