Former AC Milan Coach Fabio Capello advised Atlanta not to sell Ademola Lookman, saying "releasing lookman will hurt the club chances of winning silverware this season badly."

Lookman scored a hat-trick as La Dea defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final of the UEFA Europa League in May.

Recall that for the past two years the Nigerian talisman, 27-year-old, has maintained his position as Atlanta's best player.

The Nigeria forward was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain who have also shown interest in recent days.

Vigil360 revealed that Lookman boycotted training due to the approach by the Ligue 1 Champions PSG, which resulted in his omission in Gian Piero Gasperini’s side's clash against Leece on Monday.

However, lookman has returned to training with his teammates on Thursday ahead of their next Seria A fixture against Torino this weekend.

Capello has strongly warned Atlanta against releasing the winger and some of the club's key players.

Capello said, “If Koopmeiners and Lookman leave after injuries to Scamacca and Scalvini, it would be tough for Gasperini.”
