Nigerian striker, Suleiman Abdullahi has joined, IFK Gothenburg, A Swedish Club, for a three years deal. Abdullahi was formerly a striker at Bundesliga, Union Berlin for the 2021/2022 season before moving to the Swedish club. It seems the striker has a calling for the Scandinavian clubs, though he was once in the book of Norwegian club, Vikings Skavenger.

The Nigerian-born striker netted 5 goals in 13 appearances for the modest club.

The head coach of the team, Mikel Stahre while speaking to the club's official website said, “We are recruiting a player with great potential who has also shown before that he can deliver in Scandinavian football,”

He added, “We believe that Suleiman can lift in our environment and reach the same high level even in an all-Swedish context. What stands out most to me is his physique, speed, and goal danger.”
