Former Manchester United Midfielder, Owen Hargreaves says Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is irreplaceable in the team; insists that he was missed following their 1-0 defeat in their Champions League encounter against A.C Milan on Wednesday. Osimhen was not part of the team that played against their Serie A rivals AC Milan during the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg fixture due to a muscle injury.

The Naples have struggled due to the absence of the Nigerian forward, and Hargreaves said, "with the current form of the striker as one of the irreplaceable stars in the world of Football."

Hargreaves said, “I don’t think they have the quality to replace Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen.

“If you look at the teams, you look at Real Madrid and Manchester City, those type of teams the amount of depth they have, five or six players.”

Osimhen is expected to be fit for the second leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium next Tuesday.

Napoli will need to score two goals without conceding to scale through to the semi-finals.
