Albania has unveiled the world’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated minister, known as Diella. This was disclosed by Prime Minister Edi Rama during his speech unveiling his new cabinet, stating that the AI minister would handle public procurement and is incapable of bribes, threats, or favoritism.
He said, “Diella is the first cabinet member who isn’t physically present but is virtually created by AI,” adding that she would make Albania "a country where public tenders are 100% free of corruption."
Diella was initially launched earlier this year as an AI-generated virtual assistant on the e-Albania platform to assist citizens and businesses in acquiring state documents.
