Israeli tanks have reportedly targeted Al-Awda Hospital in the Tel Al-Zaatar area of northern Gaza, sparking fires and inflicting significant damage, hospital officials said. Hospital Director Mohamed Salha described the night as one of “horror,” with Israeli forces striking the hospital’s third floor and attacking fuel and medicine storage areas using tanks, drones, and quadcopters.

Al-Awda is one of only two hospitals still operational in northern Gaza. The nearby Indonesian Hospital is also under attack.

Some of the hospital’s 130 staff members and volunteers have been injured, though the exact number remains unclear. The Israeli military stated it had no scheduled strike on the facility and is currently investigating the source of the explosions.
