It seems hope has been dashed to the self acclaimed leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu after the justice Binta Nyako handling his case has directed that he should be returned to the custody of the Department of the State Service, DSS, as she adjoined his trial indefinitely.

IPOB is a separatist group championing agitation for an independent state of Biafra which it wants carved out from the south-east and some parts of south-south Nigeria.
