On Monday, President Bola Tinubu allegedly dispatched a high-level delegation to meet with authorities from the United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Justice to address the case of beleaguered Nigerian former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu. Ayekooto Akindele, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who posted a video of their arrival in the UK on his Facebook page, said the delegation included Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, and Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi.
