The Department of State Services (DSS) has filed a six-count charge against a man, Innocent Chukwuemeka Onukwume, for allegedly advocating for a military coup in Nigeria. In the charge filed in the Federal High Court in Abuja, marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/610/2025, it stated that the 27-year-old from Oyigbo LGA of Rivers State allegedly committed the offense in October this year.
On Monday, President Bola Tinubu allegedly dispatched a high-level delegation to meet with authorities from the United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Justice to address the case of beleaguered Nigerian former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu.
