The former Director General (DG) of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig Gen. Maharazu Tsiga, (rtd) has regained freedom after spending one month at kidnapper bandits den. A family member of the former military red-neck, Suleiman Tsiga, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Katsina yesterday.

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has yesterday revealed in an effort to decongest the Nigerian correctional Centers that the Federal Government has pardoned about 4,000 inmates spread across some correctional facilities, thereby, saving N1bn less from inmate feeding costs.

A loud explosion was reported to have just rocked the Trans-Niger Pipeline at Bodo, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State. According to the eye witness, the explosion occurred late night yesterday near the Bodo-Bonny Road under construction. The affected section of the major pipeline is still on flames until this morning, though the exact cause of the explosion remains unknown at this time of filing this report.
