The Joint Investigation Panel, set up by General Gabriel Olonisakin, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) to probe into the real culprits behind the killing of the former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh has concluded their investigation saying it was not political.

Social media platforms and the print media were yesterday, 2nd July 2019 awash with news of a Nigerian Senator beating a nursing mother over a fracas at a sex toy shop in FCT, Abuja. In a ruling by Justice Yusuf Birnin-Kudu of Jigawa State High Court has on 28th June 2019 sentenced a Deputy Director of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Auwal Jibrin, to six years in jail. Reports indicate the arrest of a quack doctor employed by Adamawa State Government who was alleged to have caused the death of Over 15 patients. The doctor named Ibrahim Mustapha whose only academic qualification is National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) certificate was said to have performed several surgeries in the last five years he had worked at cottage hospitals in Mayo-Belwa and Fufore Local Government Areas of the State.
