Zamfara State Command of the Nigerian Police on Tuesday banned all groups from undertaking procession or holding meetings following threats by members of Boko Haram to attack seven local governments in the state.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has on Tuesday 24 of September 2019 ordered the release of Omoyele Sowore as there was no longer a subsisting order holding him in detention.

An Inferno in the early hours of Monday, 23rd September 2019 gutted the head office of Unity Bank Plc located at Victoria Island, Lagos State.
