The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad has called on Nigerians to desist from peddling rumour, noting that falsehood peddlers and rumour mongers would be made to face the wrath of the law.

As part of efforts to boost the nation's revenue and ensure total security in the country, the federal Government has announced a total ban on the import and export of goods at the land borders nationwide.

Troops of the Operation Lafiya Dole, Maiduguri have reportedly captured ten (10) suspected BokoHaram commanders during raids on the terrorists’ hideouts in Borno State. The disclosure was made by the theatre Media Coordinator, Col. AminuIlliyasu, in a statement on Saturday. 

No fewer than fifteen members of the Boko Haram insurgents were reportedly killed during a fierce fight with troops at Jigalta village, located about 27 kilometers from Monguno Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.
