President Bola Ahmed Tinubu decorated 3 officers key to his security logistics with their new ranks and their spouses in attendance for a brief ceremony which was held on Friday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The officers are Commander of Presidential Air Fleet, O. Oyesola, who was promoted from Air Commodore to Air Marshal; Commander of Guards Brigade, Adebisi Onasanya, who was promoted to Brigadier General and Usman Shugaba, Personal Security Officer to the President, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), who was promoted to Deputy Commissioner of Police.
President Tinubu was assisted in decorating the newly promoted officers with their new insignia by their spouses and their relevant top military officers like the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.
Also in attendance for the ceremony were the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu; the Minister of Defence, Bello Matawalle and the Director-General (DG), Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi.
