A Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), Frank Mba, is set to voluntarily resign from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
According to reports, the retirement of Mba as well as some other senior officers was a result of the recent retirement of former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun and the appointment of IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu.
Furthermore, the Police Service Commission (PSC) has invited seven Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) for promotion interviews to the next rank of Deputy Inspectors-General of Police (DIGs).
