President Bola Tinubu has renewed the appointments of the Director-General (DG) of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Abdulhamid Dembos, and the Managing Director (MD) of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ali Mohammed Ali, for another three years.
This was made known in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, stating that their second tenure will commence on October 20, 2026.
The statement added, “President Tinubu has urged the two chief executives to justify his confidence in them by continuing to demonstrate commitment to their organisation’s mandates and the promotion of the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”
