The Kaduna State government has made public the resumption of schools in the state on Sunday 12th, 2021 after months of disruption of academic sessions following the security unrest in the state.
This was revealed by the state's Commissioner for Education, Shehu Makarfi, during a virtual workshop organized by the Education Writers' Association of Nigeria, organized as part of the activities to mark the second anniversary of the International Day to Protect Education from Attack.
According to Mr. Makafi rather than resuming for the Third term which was interrupted in the state, the schools will commence the first term for the 2021/2021 academic calendar come 12th September 2021, and the state government is gearing towards completing the aborted third term via online platforms, as the resumption will be in phases.
