Elder stateman and business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, has sympathise with flood victim in Maiduguri after he paid them a visit today and donated N1.5 billion to victims in Maiduguri, Borno state capital. Dantata extended his hands of fellowship when he led a delegation from Kano to Borno state Government House, Maiduguri this morning.


The billionaire commensurate with the government and people of Borno state where he condole the Governor Babagana Zulum, the state governor, especially those who lost their beloved ones to the flood.

The nonagenarian lamented the deterioration nature of the country’s economy, where he urged the elites and political leaders to repent and fear Allah in their dealing.

Dantata prayed for the peace and harmony of the Borno State and Nigeria at large.

Meanwhile, reacting Governor Zulum expressed heartfelt gratitude for Elder Stateman for his compassionate visit, acknowledging that its serves as a powerful beacon of hope and solidarity during the trying times of his subject.

“The people of Borno deeply appreciate this show of humanity by a 96-year-old to visit us. Let me say it, Our Baba has donated the sum of N1.5 billion to support the flood victims. May Allah bless and reward you with Aljannah. Mu gode, Baba,” Zulum said.

The development comes after Dantata’s nephew, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, also made similar donation of N1 billion to the flood victims in Maiduguri.
