As they prepared for the birth of their first child, Nigerian artist and businessman Mr. Eazi and his wife, actress Temi Otedola, disclosed that they sought advice from nine experts in various nations.
In a recent podcast episode that went viral on Tuesday, the couple discussed their pregnancy journey and the preparations they were making for the birth of their unborn child.
They said that because they were unsure of the nation in which they would eventually receive their child, the consultations were essential.
Speaking in a widely shared podcast video, Mr. Eazi clarified that they looked for other medical opinions to consider their alternatives.
"Why do we see nine different doctors? Not only did we not know where we would be, but we had nine doctors to provide you with options. Which nation? We were unsure about the nation we would choose. "I desired Japan," he declared.
The musician went on to say that he had thought of having their child in Japan and had even begun looking up Japanese names for the infant.
Temi responded to the suggestion with a mocking rejection.
She added, "By the way, he's also been looking at Japanese names, and I'm like, no, absolutely not."
The couple found out they were having their first child while on their honeymoon in Asia, and they made the announcement in May.
In August 2025, Mr. Eazi and Temi Otedola were married in a private ceremony in Iceland.
