Son of Nigeria's former Vice President and Presidential aspirant in the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar has tested positive to Coronavirus. The former Vice President made this disclosure through his official verified Twitter handle on Sunday.

The Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Mojisola Adeyeye has made the announcement that the Agency is not approving Chloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19 but for clinical trials to find treatment for the virus. This information was revealed by the DG in NAFDAC headquarters in Lagos.

The Federal Ministry of Health has on Wednesday announced that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed an additional five people who have tested positive to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), making the total cases of the disease to 8.
