In what appeared to be a dramatic development that could potentially reshape the international football at the global stage, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has hinted that it may back Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. This was contained on the official website of the Nigeria’s football body while congratulating Government and people of the Kingdom of Morocco over Wednesday’s decision by FIFA that the North African country will co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup finals with Spain and Portugal.

The intense football rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana will continue in the CAF Confederation Cup this season after Rivers United and Dreams were drawn together in Group C on Friday. The first matches are scheduled for November 26 with the sixth and final round being staged on March 3. Group winners and runners-up qualify for the quarter-finals. 

Former England International, Gary Nevile has revealed that Chelsea and Manchester United are suffering the same problem this season. According to Neville, both clubs have cultural issues and chaos which he believes has become a stumbling block against their performances on the pitch. Chelsea is currently occupying position 15th on the Premier League table, as against the Manchester United that are occupying the 10th position.
