Napoli’s frontman Victor Osmhen gave the Eagles the lead in the 22nd minute while a strike from Oghenekaro Etebo doubled the lead in the 51st minute. Substitute Paul Onuachu who replaced Osimhen in the 74th-minute score 9minutes after coming on to ensure maximum points for the Eagles. Following the conclusion of the qualifying series, Nigeria won Group L with 14 points gained from six games where they secured four wins, two draws, and no loss.
