Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has rejoined boyhood club Kano Pillars after more than a decade spell in Europe and Asain leagues. Musa with over 40 appearances and 22 goals in the NPFL has agreed to join "Sai Masu Gida" with whom he became the top scorer in 2009 after scoring 18 goals before moving to VVV Venlo in the Netherlands.

Kudela is under investigation for alleged racial abuse. Rangers midfielder, Glen Kamara, had accused him of racist abuse after the defender leaned into his ear and said something while covering his mouth, in the final stages of their Europa League round-of-16 match. Kudela denied the allegation and Slavia stood by him, alleging a “physical assault” on the 34-year-old.
