Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have finalised the date for their undisputed heavyweight championship clash and will meet in a specially-created stadium says Eddie Hearn as official confirmation for one of the biggest heavyweight fights creeps closer. Fury and Joshua signed a two-fight deal in March to unify the title. The location is likely to be in Saudi Arabia Hearn told Sky Sports on May 11: "I think it's a very bad secret that the fight is happening in Saudi Arabia. To be honest with you, I don't mind giving you that information." The details remain sketchy as the fight is yet to be formally announced, but the two heavyweights could be in line for a record payday come August.
“Anthony Joshua will be going to war with Tyson fury. He plans to absolutely demolish him. That’s what I believe he will do,” Hearn added.
“They want to build a new stadium,” Hearn told Sky Sports about the hosts in Saudi Arabia.” They have indoor options.
“In August at 11 pm, it will be about 23 degrees.
“They want to create something very, very special. The last time they built a stadium for the Andy Ruiz Jr fight in just Seven weeks and it held 18,000.
This will be a similar set-up.”

Hearn said it made more sense to go for the 14th in terms of the global spectacle, with the Tokyo Olympics finishing on Aug. 8, but hoped to nail down the date and venue in the next few days.
ESPN reported that the site fee alone for the fight is worth over $150 million, which would see Joshua and Fury pocket $75 million each. By comparison, the biggest site fee for a heavyweight fight to date was $60 million for Joshua vs Ruiz in December 2019.
