President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the Super Eagles to play a clean and fair game but bring the World Cup trophy back home.
The President stated this on Wednesday when he met with the Super Eagles at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
He said that the team is very young but encourage them to display the Nigerian spirit and their knowledge to a great advantage over their opponents.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will depart the shores of the country on Wednesday aboard a chartered flight to London for Saturday’s international friendly against England at the Wembley Stadium. The Eagles are seeking Nigeria’s first win against England after losing 1-0 in 1995 and playing a 0-0 draw with the Three Lions at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea and Japan.
