The Flying Antelopes has signed a five-year multi-million naira merchandising, development and branding contract with
Italian Sportswear manufacturers, Lotto Italia SPA.
The Nigeria Professional Football League, (NPFL) side signed the contract with the Veneto based country through the Nigerian representatives of Lotto, Desgraf and Mart (D&M) on Tuesday 24th of September.
According to Rangers General Manager, Davidson Owumi while signing the contract at the club complex on Lugard Avenue, Abakaliki Road, Enugu, said the essence of this contract is to relief the funding of the club by government. He added that the company would undertake in the production, distribution and shipment of Lotto branded kits from Italy.
“The contract is between the club, Rangers, and Desgraf & Mart’s Limited, D&M, who are Lotto agents in Nigeria,”
“The essence of this contract is to be a sort of relief in the funding of the club by the government."
“This is really a landmark occasion and we are indeed very glad to be associated with this. I strongly believe that it will go a long way towards letting our teeming fans have our sports kits, and as well generate income for the club."

The NPFL club side will host AS Pelicans of Gabon in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Second Preliminary Round on Sunday 29th of September at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, hoping to overturn their 2-1 deficit in the first leg tie in Libreville.
