Arsenals are all out to unleash the €60m release clause of Spain star Martin Zubimendi. According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has agreed on a deal to sign Zubimendi from Real Socieded.According to Romano, the 26-year-old midfielder will become Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s first summer signing of the new season.


“Arsenal agree deal to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, here lll go! Romano added.

“Zubimendi has now verbally agreed to sign a long term deal… so formal steps must follow soon with Arsenal to trigger €60m clause.       

“Zubi, ready to become the first signing of the new season,” Romano tweeted on Saturday.

Arsenals are keen to support Arteta’s squad after they missed out from winning the Premier League and Champions League this season.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are now battling to finish in second position with less than three matches to complete the season
