Chelsea Manager, Mauricio Pochettino has insisted Trevoh Chalobah, a defender is on his list for the Stamford Bridge. Pochettino also disclosed that ‘no one will decide’ Chalobah’s future in the club but him. Accordingly, Chalobah could not move away from Chelsea in the final week of the summer transfer window despite interest from Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest, who both had interest on him
Consequently, this week rumour claimed that Chalobah had been frozen out at the club, making the Blues happy to cash in on the 24-year-old naivety following his failure to land a move.
However, Pochettino has slammed these rumours, saying he will be the only person to decide such.
During his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Bournemouth on Sunday, the Blues manager said, “Trevoh Chalobah is in my plans, no one else is going to make decisions for me,”
“I have enough knowledge to be involved in a decision. Everyone in the squad is part of my plans.”
