Nigerian attacker Henry Onyekuru, bags first career hattrick in Galatasaray 6-0 trashing of Ankaragucu in the Turkish Super League. Onyekuru who has made five (5) appearance for the super eagles of Nigeria was in sensational form in Galatassary victory over Ankaragucu.
The 21-year-old who signed for Everton from Belgian side Eupen for £7million in June 2017 but is not yet eligible to obtain a work permit to play in the UK, smashed in three goals for his on-loan club Galatasaray in their 6-0 thrashing of Ankaragucu in the Turkish Super League.
This is coming when his home club Everton is looking to find form at goals, as the club's toothless forward line continue to labor in the Premier League.
Gumus Sinan opened the scoring for the Istanbul side in the first minute with Onyekuru doubling their lead on 20 minutes after being played through by Senegalese midfielder Badou Ndiaye who is also on loan from an English club (Stoke City).
Manchester City old boy Fernando then teed up Onyekuru for his second goal on 59 minutes and the Nigerian international completed his treble just four minutes later.
The 21-year-old, playing his first fixture since before Christmas because of the Turkish winter break, took to Instagram to explain the celebratory jig he embarked upon after scoring.
