Barcelona Manager, Quique Setien has reacted to his side’s La Liga 2 – 0 defeats to Valencia on Saturday. He said, Valencia defeated Barcelona, thanks to Maxi Gomez’s and a Jordi Alba own goal at Mestalla. This is Setien first defeat as Barcelona Manager in Just a second of La Liga game in charge after replacing Ernesto Valverde few days ago.
The Manager in his statement said “The reality is that we did not play well at all, especially in the first half,” at his post-march press conference.
“We couldn’t get near their goal and at certain moments we did not understand each other well and Valencia made the most out of our mistakes, he added.
He explained though his boys made a lot of passes only for the sake of making them which were not capable of making any impact.
