Nigeria and Leister City Midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has been named the 2017 Leicester City's Young Player of the Year. Ndidi was handed the award at the club's honours ceremony held on Monday night after brilliant performances for the Foxes.
The 20 year old Nigerian joined the former League winners, Leicester City from Genk in the January transfer window and has since settled perfectly at the King Power Stadium. His arrival addressed the hitherto midfield challenge that had bedeviled the team following the exit of Ngolo Kante to Chelsea.
So far, he has made 15 Premier League appearances and scored two fantastic goals for the Craig Shakespeare side.
In other awards, Leicester City Goalkeeper, Kasper Schmeichel was named the Players' Player of the Year and the Player of the Year, while goal of the Year award was given to Danny Drinkwater.
