Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has disclosed that agents of some players in Nigeria, Europe and Asia were offering him bribe to include them in the Super Eagles squad. Rohr who made the disclosure after an emergency meeting with members of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) stated that he flatly rejected such offers.

It was gathered that the members of the Technical Committee, led by Chris Green were irked by the woeful display of the Super Eagles against the Bafana Bafana at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium and have resolved to scrutinize team lists prepared by the Coach for subsequent matches.

Meanwhile, Rohr has assured Nigerians that the mistakes made during the last encounter will be corrected when the Super Eagles confront the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in August for World Cup Qualifier. "We recognize the mistakes made by the largely inexperienced side that played against South Africa.

We know how to come out of it, but we wouldn’t want to divulge ‎the strategy since the world is a global village. Our next game is against Cameroon and happily they are busy in the Confederations Cup, which give us enough time to watch them" he added
