Nigerian Mildfield Sensation, Chidiebere Nwakali has been signed by Swedish side Kalmar KK and He is set to be unveiled in the coming days.
The central midfielder, who is already in Scandinavia, held contract talks with the leadership of Kalmar two days ago and had agreed on a deal after negotiations.
Nwakali is joining the Swedish topflight club as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Polish second-tier club Raków Częstochowa in November 2018.
The 22-year-old enjoyed loan spells at Malaga, Girona, IK Start, Sogndal and Aberdeen while on the books of Manchester City. “Now I look forward to meeting my new teammates and starting the hard work for the start of the season.”
