South Africa head coach of Banyana Banyana, Desiree Ellis, has unveiled a 24-player squad she pencilled for the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier clash against the Nigeria’s Super Falcons. Ellis named the squad this morning ahead of the team’s final training session before they embark on Abuja trip for the games. In her squad, the tactician included three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and six strikers. 


Accordingly, inexhaustible striker, Thembi Kgatlana, Linda Motlhalo, Refiloe Jane, Jermaine Seoposenwe and Hildah Magaia are some of the key players, she designated for the face-off on her roster. 

On the 2nd April Easter Monday is the day the African champions have slated for travel to Abuja for the final qualifying round contest. 

At the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, next Friday, the Banyana Banyana will file out against the Super Falcons in the first leg. 

The two sport rivals will clash in the reverse fixture in Pretoria on come April 9.
