The World Cup governing body, FIFA has disclosed that Education City, Khalifa, and Ahmed Bin Ali international Stadiums as the venue to host the 2020 clubs World cup in Qatar.
The tournament as earlier scheduled for 2020, however, was postponed with the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and now will be started from February 1 to 11, 2021.
Ahmed Bin Ali stadium is penciled to host the opening ceremony match on Feb. 1 as the stadium has already been inaugurated on Dec. 18.
FIFA has also scheduled Auckland City of New Zealand versus the Al Duhail of Qatar to clash In the opening match.
The world cup games expected to bring teams from six continental federations planed to play the finals of the game at the Education City stadium which was unveiled in June 2020.
Meanwhile, teams unveiled to participate in the tournament include; Bayern Munich, Ulsan Hyundai, Al Ahly, UANL, Auckland City, and Al-Duhail.
In the meantime, FIFA revealed it has put in place structures to take care of the COVID-19 protocols in collaboration with the hosting country.
