Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, wants the club to sign Mateo Kovacic from Manchester City this summer. Fotomac reports that though It is understood Mourinho has given the green light for a potential loan move for the 30-year-old. However, Kovacic only joined Man City last summer from Premier League rivals, Chelsea.
The Croatian international still has three years left on his contract at the Etihad.
Mourinho has figure out that Kovacic is going to be a strong force in his midfield and has developed a likeness for him to exit Etihad.
Kovacic made 46 appearances in all competitions for the Man City in the last season.
