Xiaomi has begun rolling out the stable version of HyperOS 3.1 to the first batch of its global smartphones and tablets, with initial availability confirmed across select devices in Europe. According to reports, “the stable version of Xiaomi HyperOS 3.1 is now available to the first batch of phones and tablets,” marking the start of a phased global rollout expected to expand in the coming weeks. The update introduces system-level optimisations alongside multiple user interface refinements designed to improve overall performance and responsiveness.
Among the early recipients are devices in the Xiaomi 17 series. Both the standard model, codenamed Pudding, and the Ultra variant, codenamed Nezha, have begun receiving the update in the European Union, with firmware versions OS3.0.301.0.WPCEUXM and OS3.0.301.0.WPAEUXM respectively.
On the tablet side, Xiaomi has extended the rollout to the Redmi Pad Pro and the rebranded Poco Pad. Both devices are receiving the same firmware version, OS3.0.301.0.WNSEUXM, in the EU region.
The update brings several feature enhancements, including an upgraded “Enhanced Super Island,” which is described as more interactive than its predecessor. Visual improvements are also a key highlight, with updated system animations and app interfaces incorporating iOS-style transitions aimed at delivering a smoother, more fluid user experience.
Another major addition is the improved HyperConnect feature. Xiaomi has expanded cross-device compatibility, allowing better interaction with external ecosystems. Notably, the system’s “Find My Device” function can now locate paired Apple AirPods, further bridging functionality between Xiaomi and Apple devices.
Despite the ongoing rollout, Xiaomi has not disclosed a timeline for when other eligible devices will receive HyperOS 3.1. Earlier indications suggest that not all devices currently running HyperOS 3 will be upgraded to version 3.1.
