The Federal Government has approved the composition of an inter-Ministerial Committee on the Disposal of the federal government of Nigeria forfeited assets within the next six months. The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami disclosed this yesterday in Abuja while inaugurating the 22-member inter-committee.

The president said the government is constraint by the dwindling resources occasioned by the impact of COVID 19 which also affected the global economy.

Following the looting of the COVID-19 palliative by some youth across the country, officials from the Federal Government have revealed that at no time the government asked the 36 governors and the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to wait for a directive before distribution of the palliative to their people.
