Court Adjourns Naira Abuse Case against Cubana Chief Priest Until June 25
A Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned the naira abuse case against celebrity bartender, Pascal Okechukwu, popular as Cubana Chief Priest until 25th June 2024. Cubana Chief Priest faces allegations of abusing the Naira notes during a social event at the Eko Hotel in Lagos. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Okechukwu on April 17 on a three-count charge, accusing him of spraying and tampering with Naira notes. Despite pleading not guilty, he was granted bail in the sum of N10 million.
